Building Wealth Through Property

Why Us

Why Invest In Property?

‘Bricks and Mortar’ are – quite rightly – seen by most of us as a good long term investment. Historically, the price of property in the UK has doubled every 5 to 8 years – that’s 11 to 15% per annum. Can you get that from your bank or building society – or can you rely on the stock market to achieve this?

Why invest in the UK?

We have seen property prices in the UK increase even faster during the ‘90s and this is still happening right now in parts of the UK. Did you miss out on the 35% increase in prices and rents in Yorkshire and the North West in the last year or the very significant price rises in Scotland and Northern Ireland (Paragon BTL Index)? Don’t be put off by the dire warnings and pessimism in the UK market, prices are still rising – but you need to know where, which properties to choose and how to invest!

Why invest abroad?

If you’re put off by sentiment in the UK market, you can’t fail to have heard of the ‘Property Hot-Spots’ in Eastern Europe and more exotic places further afield. The reality is that the overseas property market is booming too! Investing abroad can be a daunting prospect for some people, but it can be an excellent way to maximise the growth of your capital! And there’s the opportunity to invest in ‘lifestyle’ properties that you can enjoy – as well as earning great yields! There are lots of great opportunities – but you need to know where the next hot-spots will be and to tell the winners from the also-rans!

  • What should you buy in order to maximise rental income?
That's where Compass-Point can help!

Tax Efficiency

For those Investors who pay UK Corporate, Income and Capital Gains taxes, we are able to offer very effective arrangements – which are both fully robust and legitimate under UK tax law – to eliminate most of the tax burden associated with such investments. The effective costs of these arrangements usually amount to rather less than 10% of the assets managed, compared with potential taxation at 40% for higher rate tax-payers.

Working through a registered UK-based Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) and one of the world’s largest Trustee companies, we can set up Offshore Trust arrangements in respect of the Investment Fund, with sub-trusts through which individual Investor’s funds and assets are managed by independent Trustees. Alternatively, dedicated trusts can be set up for individual Investors, if the quantum of investment is likely to justify the additional costs.

Returns of - up to 50% per annum -on your investment
