Natural Beauty and Excellent Investments
With its striking natural coastline and beautiful national parks, mountains and valleys, the Cost de Almeria remains unspoilt and peaceful. It is mainland Europe’s sunniest region, with an average of 323 days of sunshine a year, and is often referred to as the "California of Europe".
History is everywhere and this reflects in its picturesque white-housed hill-towns, villages and defensive towers along the coast. Much of the East coast of Almeria remains undeveloped with sandy coves and quiet walks among blossoming flowers and wild sage. There are several established 18 hole golf courses and two new courses being constructed at San Juan de Los Terreros and Pulpi, while sailing and water-sports are also popular.
Travel from the UK is becoming easy, with Almeria Airport less than an hour to most areas, Murcia and Alicante Airports approximately one and a half hours’ drive and a new airport near Murcia due to open in 2007- all linked by excellent motorways.
This is a lovely area of Spain – one of the least developed of the Northern Mediterranean coasts – and presents excellent investment prospects.
